Hooray Beer!

Red Stripe. It's Jamaican...and incredibly tasty.  Quite possibly one of my most favorite tasting beers, Red Stripe is most easily recognizable by the, you guessed it, dominant red stripe logo on it's bottles and cans.

This beer offers a sweet tasting light straw colored brew.  Currently brewed by Desnoes & Geddes Limited out of Kingston, Jamaica.

Currently a 6 pack of this delicious beer can be purchased for around $8 at your local Hy-Vee.

a little hiatus...

Since I've been somewhat slacking on the blog (and beer tasting) the past few weeks, be prepared for a couple new posts this week.  I'm bringing it big from here on out.

Birra Moretti

Birra Moretti was an Italian brewery founded in 1859 by Luigi Moretti.  In 1996, the company was bought by Heineken.  Since this acquisition, Birra Moretti has been a product under the Heineken brand.  Currently, Birra Moretti beer is exported to over 40 countries in the world.

The beer itself is a pale lager, which means it is a pale light golden colored beer.  Notably, the beer has a slightly bitter hop flavor, most comparably to Heineken (hence the acquisition).  Birra Moretti can be purchased for around $8 at Hy-Vee.

This is just some filler for class. Hopefully we can get something exciting in place soon!
